Vivo V19 Global Variant with Dual Selfie Cameras, 33W Fast Charging Support Launched: Specs, Features

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has finally unveiled its Vivo V19 smartphone globally. The Vivo V19 smartphone, unlike the one that was launched in Indonesia last month, comes with a dual punch-hole selfie camera. As a matter of fact, the Vivo V19 is the first-ever Vivo smartphone to feature a dual punch-hole display. While the device was supposed to be unveiled in India back in March, its launch was delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, the global debut of the Vivo V19 has given us a working clue as to what we can expect from the device. Take a look at the specifications and features of the Vivo V19 smartphone.

Vivo V19: Specifications and Features

Starting with the display of the device, the Vivo V19 sports a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ display with a dual punch-hole cutout for two selfie cameras. The punch-hole is located in the top right corner of the device’s display and it hosts a 32MP primary lens with f/2.1 aperture and an 8MP secondary lens with f/2.3 aperture. The Vivo V19 makes room for an under-display fingerprint scanner.
Moving around on the back of the device, the Vivo V19 features a quadruple rear camera setup, which is aligned in an L-shaped pattern. The cameras include a 48MP primary lens, an 8MP ultrawide angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. the Vivo V19 comes with support for Super Night mode and Ultra Stable mode not just for the rear camera, but for the front camera as well. Other than the camera module, there’s a Vivo logo located on the bottom left side of the device. The Vivo V19 is available in two color options – Sleek Silver and Gleam Black.

Under the hood, the Vivo V19 drives power from an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset, which is assisted by 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of onboard storage. It is unclear as to whether or not the device features storage expansion. On the software side of things, the Vivo V19 ships with the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s very own FunTouch OS skin baked on top of it.
As far as the battery is concerned, the Vivo V19 sports a 4,500mAh battery, which has provision for fast charging by up to 33W. The Vivo V19 can be charged over a USB Type-C charging port. Connectivity options include a 3.5mm headphone jack and Bluetooth 5.0.

As of now, the company’s official page does not reveal the pricing and availability of the Vivo V19, but since the device has already been announced, we can safely expect to learn these two things in the coming days. Whenever we do, we shall keep you posted on the same.
