The OnePlus 8 Pro will feature two 48MP cameras
Video recording on the OnePlus 8 Pro will be limited to 4K @ 60fps instead of 8K, even though the processor supports it. The reason for 4K recording is because the company will use its HDR technology that combines three 4K frames at a time to ensure good lighting in the videos. The smartphone will be equipped with optical and electronic image stabilisation for shake-free 4K video recording. The report says that the OnePlus 8 Pro will offer audio zoom function due to the three microphones present on the device. It will allow the user to zoom in on a subject and record the sound. The feature was previously seen on HTC and LG smartphones. The OnePlus 8 Pro will be equipped with a flicker sensor that prevents image flickering in videos from artificial light sources.
As for the standard OnePlus 8, the device is expected to be equipped with a 48MP Sony IMX586 main sensor accompanied by a 16MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro shooter. This one too will come with EIS and OIS with 4K video recording support. The OnePlus 8 series is expected to come with an improved Pro mode, RAW format and more. On the front, both the standard and Pro variants will feature a 16MP front-facing cameras with a slight difference in aperture.
The OnePlus 8 series is confirmed to come with a 120Hz AMOLED screen and Snapdragon 865 processor paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage. Recently, the brand confirmed support for 30W wireless charging on the upcoming flagship smartphone.
