“The OPPO Reno Ace 2 is likely to ship with Snapdragon 865 SoC, 5G connectivity, quad cameras in a circular ring and 65W fast-charging support”
A mysterious OPPO phone with model number PDHM00 and 5G connectivity has bagged TENAA certification in China. The image in the listing suggests that it is nothing but the Reno Ace 2, whose live image had surfaced online recently. This confirms the handset will have a punch-hole cutout at the top corner to house the selfie camera and a circular quad-camera setup at the back. The power button is on the right, while the volume rocker is on the left. Since there is no cutout on the back, the fingerprint sensor could be placed within the AMOLED display. The OPPO Reno Ace 2 recently received the Wi-Fi Alliance certification and this confirmed it will have dual-band Wi-Fi and boots Android 10 OS. China’s 3C certification of the OPPO Reno Ace 2 suggested that it would come with 65W fast-charging, similar to its predecessor. Additionally, Zhang Jialiang, head of OPPO’s VOOC Flash Charge recently confirmed that OPPO’s 40W wireless fast-charging solution will be available this year, so there’s a possibility it could be included in the Reno Ace 2. OPPO’s VP Brian Shen had confirmed the Reno Ace 2 will launch in April 2020, so we don’t have to wait for much longer.
